What you need.
Channel incoming webhook
- Permission to create a Slack incoming webhook for the chosen channel.
- Organisation admin access in Redialler.
- A decision on the outcomes and queue sources that the channel should receive.
Set up Slack.
Create a private Slack incoming webhook for the selected channel.
Open Slack setup in Redialler Settings and save the webhook URL as a Slack notification connection.
Choose the outcome and queue-source filters. Keep the connection paused while you review the destination.
Review the documented outcome fields and data access. Notifications exclude recordings, transcripts, and notes.
Enable the connection when ready. Use delivery history to inspect failures and retries. If you choose Send test, confirm the dialog to send a real channel message.
Confirm provider access and delivery in your account before rollout.
Data and permissions.
- Slack receives the outcome, contact name, company, phone number, duration, callback time, and event ID.
- Notifications exclude transcripts, recordings, and notes.
- The incoming webhook URL contains secrets. It fixes the destination channel and cannot choose a different channel per message.
Current limits.
- This setup is an incoming webhook, not a published Slack OAuth installation.
- Delivery is at least once. A message can repeat if Slack accepted it but the response was uncertain.
- Slack rate limits and Retry-After affect delivery timing.
- Confirm channel permissions and delivery in your Slack workspace before rollout.
Provider documentation
Questions about Slack.
Can I choose a channel for each message?
No. The incoming webhook belongs to the selected channel. Create a separate connection for another destination.
Are transcripts included in Slack messages?
No. The outcome notification contains outcome metadata and IDs. It excludes transcripts, recordings, and notes.
Does Send test show a preview?
No. Send test opens a confirmation dialog. Confirming it queues a real Slack message. Review the documented outcome fields and data access if you want to check the content without sending.
