Aircall vs JustCall for Attio

Aircall vs JustCall for Attio is a choice between two documented third-party calling routes with different emphasis. Aircall’s Attio app is a desktop click-to-dial path inside a wider phone platform. JustCall’s Attio app combines calls, SMS, voicemails and AI insight with a separate Sales Dialer suite. Choose after checking the exact Person match, note, outcome, recording, callback and plan entitlement in your workspace. This is a desk-researched comparison by Redialler, published by Ryan Erkal, Founder, using vendor and Attio documentation checked on 8 September 2026. The four tests below are proposed tests, not performed results, and the article does not declare a universal winner.
Scope and publisher disclosure
This comparison asks which documented route gives an Attio admin enough evidence to buy. It focuses on the Attio integration, record identity, activity content, outcomes, callbacks, recordings and dialer plan. It does not score call quality, support or pickup rate because no account was installed and no call was placed. Product pages are useful for a shortlist, but a four-case CRM acceptance test should decide the final choice.
Redialler publishes this page and may be considered as another Attio calling route. That commercial interest is disclosed here. Redialler is not included in the Aircall versus JustCall feature verdict. Its browser manual, Power and Parallel workflow can be assessed separately with the same acceptance cases and its published pricing.
Current Attio listings and setup routes
Attio labels both products as official apps. Aircall’s page says it is built by Attio. An Attio workspace admin installs Aircall, connects an Aircall account, authorises access and adds the numbers that may sync. The user then opens an Attio Person or Company record, clicks Call and uses Aircall Workspace for Desktop. Attio says the number is pre-filled in Aircall and the call is started there. The route is direct, but it depends on the desktop application.
JustCall’s page says it is built by SaaS Labs. The documented route starts by enabling the integration from JustCall’s dashboard, connecting Attio with OAuth 2.0, syncing contacts and turning on automatic conversation logging. The page describes calls, texts, voicemails, recordings, AI summaries and outcomes in Attio. Ask whether the selected JustCall plan and the intended Attio objects are enabled before importing a live list.
Record matching, activity content and sync direction
Aircall’s Attio documentation requires a phone number on the Person record and describes click-to-dial from Person or Company. After a successful call, Attio adds a note to the Person with the placing team member, date, time, length and Aircall notes. The page does not state how it chooses between two People with the same number, whether it creates a missing Person or how a failed call is represented.
JustCall’s Attio documentation says every call, text, voicemail and recording is logged to the right contact and that contact information is synchronized in both directions. That is a broader stated sync direction than Aircall’s short click-to-dial description. It still does not explain the duplicate identity rule, field precedence or behavior when a phone number is absent. Treat both products as unproven for duplicate handling until the test produces a clear record ID and timeline result.
Outcomes, callback tasks and recordings
Aircall’s Attio page documents a successful-call note but does not publish an Attio outcome field, callback task, or recording object for this integration. Aircall’s wider product supports tags, notes and recordings, and Professional lists queue callback for inbound numbers. Those facts do not prove that an Attio callback task or recording file is created by this specific route. Make the resulting Attio timeline and recording access hard evidence in the test.
JustCall’s Attio page explicitly mentions outcomes, recordings, AI summaries, sentiment and coaching scorecards. Its Sales Dialer guides also document dispositions, scheduled calls and reattempt rules. A Sales Dialer callback can be scheduled or forwarded, but that is not automatically an Attio task with an owner. The four-case test should compare the Attio activity, task, due date, assigned rep, recording link and retry behavior for both products.
Dialer eligibility and total quote
Aircall’s current public page lists Essentials at 30 US dollars per license per month when billed annually and Professional at 50, with three licenses shown as the starting quantity. Power Dialer is listed under Professional. JustCall’s current pricing guide lists Team at 29 dollars per user per month annually or 39 monthly, Pro at 49 or 69, and Pro Plus at 89 or 109. Business and SalesPro are custom. Its billing FAQ says all plans require at least two seats.
These numbers describe different package structures. Aircall’s license buys a phone platform with its displayed regional calling allowance. JustCall’s Sales Dialer entitlement and usage, SMS, AI, numbers and recording terms must be checked separately. Ask each vendor for a written quote that names seats, numbers, calling regions, Sales Dialer mode, bundled units, pay-as-you-go rates, recording, transcription, AI, support and contract term. Do not compare a base phone plan with a separate paid dialer add-on as though the products were equal.
Four Attio acceptance cases
Case one is a duplicate Person. Create two People with the same phone number and call from each record. Pass only if the tool states which Person receives the activity or blocks the ambiguity. Case two is a missing phone. Open a Person without a phone and confirm that the call is stopped with a useful message and no orphan activity. Case three is a no-answer. Check whether an attempt, note, outcome or retry appears. Case four is an owned callback. Save a callback outcome with a due date and rep, then verify the Attio task, activity, number route and reminder.
Repeat all four cases with the same account settings, number and two reps. Record screenshots or exported evidence of the exact Person, timeline note, direction, duration, outcome, owner, recording link and task. These are proposed tests, not results from this article. For a sales team that needs rich campaigns, JustCall is worth shortlisting only if the required mode and Attio records pass. For a phone-system team that values desktop click-to-dial and inbound administration, Aircall is worth shortlisting only if its note and callback evidence pass.
