Inbound callbacks

Last updated 4 September 2026

Every number you call from is a number people can call back. Redialler rings a free rep in the browser and takes a message if nobody can answer. This guide covers the routing order, wrap-up protection, and messages.

Routing order

  1. The rep who last called this person, if they are free and present in the browser.
  2. Otherwise, the next free rep on the team.
  3. If that rep does not answer, one more free rep is tried.
  4. If nobody answers, the caller can leave a message.

A rep is free when they have a Redialler tab open, are not on a call, and have no outcome waiting to be saved.

Wrap-up protection

A rep who has just hung up and is saving an outcome is not free. An inbound call cannot replace the call they are wrapping up. Once they press S, they are free again.

Messages

If nobody is free, the caller hears a short greeting and can leave a message. The message is recorded, saved as an inbound call on the person's record, and shown in the Call log with a recording.

Callbacks from numbers not in Attio are logged too. Redialler creates a person record from the number so the message is not lost.
