Troubleshooting

Last updated 4 September 2026

The most common problems and the first things to check. If none of these fix it, email hello@redialler.com with the time of the call and the number dialled.

No audio

  • Check the browser has microphone permission for Redialler. Look for the microphone icon in the address bar.
  • Check the headset is selected in Setup under Audio devices. A headset plugged in after the tab was opened may not be picked up until you choose it.
  • Run the speaker test in the audio setup panel. You should hear the test tone in your headset.
  • Close other apps that may hold the microphone, such as a video call.

Call fails to connect

  • Check the number you dialled is a valid US number. Redialler rejects numbers it cannot normalise.
  • Check number health in Numbers. A rested or capped number cannot be used until it recovers. Pick another or wait.
  • On a bring-your-own Twilio account, check the Twilio balance. Calls fail silently when it reaches zero.
  • Check the person is not on a do-not-call list or blocked as a bad number.

Sync failed

A sync error means the outcome or note could not be written to Attio. Open the call in the Call log and choose Retry. If it fails again, check the Attio API key in Setup has not expired and has write access to Notes, Tasks, and Files.

Errors after a deploy

If a screen shows a generic error just after an update, the app and its backend may be out of step for a few minutes. Reload the page. If it persists for more than ten minutes, contact support with the screen name and the time.
