Parallel mode rings several people at once. The first to answer is put through to you. The others are ended and kept in the list. This guide covers how it works, choosing lines, the abandoned-call pause, and what dropped prospects hear.
How it works
Your browser joins a conference line before any prospect is dialed. Redialler then rings two or more people at the same time. The first to answer is joined to your line straight away. The other calls are cancelled.
Because your line is already open, there is no delay while your browser is dialed after someone answers. That delay is what makes other parallel dialers sound like a robocall.
The pre-joined line
You hear a soft tone when a round starts and a second tone when someone connects. Between rounds you are on hold, not on a call. Press Enter to start the next round or H to leave the session.
Choosing lines
Lines at once is the number of people rung at once. Start with two. Move to three when most calls go to voicemail. Go higher only for lists with very low answer rates.
More lines means more chance that two people answer at once. The second person does not reach a rep and is rung again later. Keep this rare.
Session settings also set the session cap, the launch gap, the ring timeout, and answering machine detection. Redialler keeps Lines at once where you set it.
Abandoned-call pause
Redialler counts the people who answer but never reach a rep, per list, over the last 30 days. Once a list has 20 live answers, Redialler pauses new Parallel calls on it when more than 3% of them went unconnected.
What dropped prospects hear
A person who answers when no rep is free hears a short message with your business name and callback number. An admin sets both in Settings, under Organisation. They are logged as an attempt, not a conversation, and stay in the list for the next round.
